Boilerplate — 100 words
SweeperX is an iPhone storage cleaner that runs entirely on the device. It finds duplicate and similar photos, oversized videos and forgotten files, shows exactly what will be recovered, and stages everything in a review bin before anything is removed. The app contains no networking code — no analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs and no server — so every feature works in Airplane Mode, and the only domain iOS’s App Privacy Report shows for it is Apple’s own StoreKit host, contacted at purchase. SweeperX Pro costs $12.99 once, with no subscription, renewal or expiry. It is made by Csaba Farkas, trading as Sylenia, in Salzburg, Austria.
Boilerplate — 300 words
SweeperX is an iPhone storage cleaner built against the grain of its own category. Where the App Store’s cleaner apps typically charge a weekly subscription for a task that finishes, and many upload photo libraries to remote servers for analysis, SweeperX charges once and sends nothing anywhere.
The app offers eleven tools, all of them local: duplicate and similar-photo review with automatic best-shot selection, swipe-to-declutter, photo and video compression, Live Photo conversion, large-file scanning across “On My iPhone”, smart-album cleanup, contacts deduplication, an encrypted Secret Space vault, lifetime impact statistics, and Home Screen widgets.
Safety is structural rather than promised. Nothing is deleted when it is tapped: selections are staged in a review bin the user confirms as a batch, and confirmed photos and videos go to the Photos app’s Recently Deleted album, where iOS keeps them for 30 days. Compression writes the new copy before the original is ever offered for removal. Vaulting writes the encrypted copy, reads it back, and compares its plaintext SHA-256 against the source before the original becomes eligible for deletion.
The privacy claim is verifiable rather than asserted. Because the app contains no networking code at all, it works normally with the phone in Airplane Mode, and the single domain listed for it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → App Privacy Report, which logs every domain an app contacts, is Apple’s own StoreKit host, reached when the one-time purchase goes through. There is no account to create and no server to trust.
SweeperX Pro is a one-time $12.99 purchase. A free tier covers the first 500 MB of reclaimed storage and five vault items, and does not expire. The app requires iOS 17.0 or later and is made by Csaba Farkas, trading as Sylenia, an independent developer in Salzburg, Austria.

How to refer to us
- The app is SweeperX — one word, capital S and X.
- The developer is Csaba Farkas, trading as Sylenia. Sylenia is a trading name, not a company — please don’t append “Inc”, “Ltd” or “GmbH”, because no such entity exists.
- The price is $12.99 once. If you quote a local figure, please note that Apple sets it per storefront and that it includes tax.
- We would rather you tested the Airplane Mode claim than repeated it. If it doesn’t hold up, we want to know before you publish.
